Parent-Teacher Conferences Next Week--Parents Please Read!!

Next Monday and Tuesday, November 21st and 22nd, will be a chance to come in and discuss your student's progress.  The sessions will be held 8:30-11:30 am, 1:00-4:00 pm, and 5:30-8:30 pm on both days.  I want to let you know that on Tuesday, November 22nd,  I will not be available until 10:00 am because I will be meeting with the teachers of my own children across town.  I hope that I will still be able to meet with all parents who want to conference.  You are more than welcome to bring your student with you.  It is frequently very helpful to have their voice present at the conference.

I look forward to meeting with many of you next week!

Updated Grades/SPARK Lecture/Chapter 3 Test

I have graded everything in my possession and have updated Edbox.  This will be your Quarter Grade unless you turn in late work or extra credit by 3:20 on Monday 11/7.  Check your grade over to make sure that it is accurate.  Every now and then you may have something graded that is not yet listed.  Make sure that you let me know this week if you find an inaccuracy.

There is a SPARK lecture tomorrow at 3:45 (get there earlier if you really want to go!!).  Dr. Evan Clark, Director of the Sustainable Water, Energy & Environmental Technologies (SWEET) Lab at PSU will be speaking about "Technology in the Developing World:  Revolutions for Monitoring Success."  You need proof of attendance, and a 1-2 page summary of what the speaker talked about (not just notes) and your response to it.  This may be turned in by 3:20 pm on Wednesday to earn extra credit for 1st Quarter.

Finally, remember that we have a test on Chapter 3 tomorrow (Monday)!!  While it will not count for this quarter's grade, make sure that you go over the Review Sheet and/or go to the Physics Classroom (link on this website) to get help.
