The Week of 1/17-1/21

I hope you had a nice 3-day week-end!  We have 1.5 more weeks in the semester, so make sure that you know what you need to get done.  The Semester Review Packet is now on-line, so you can get started on the review if you would like.  How is your project?  Make sure that you follow the guidelines so that you don't lose points for forgetting something.  There will be a short 7+8 test on Friday, followed by review for the Final Exam.  The late work and extra credit deadline is Monday 1/24!    Late work deadline has been changed until Tuesday at lunch!!

Monday 1/17:  Martin Luther King Day.  No School.
Tuesday 1/18:  Turn in Torque Lab if not already.  Introduce Conservation of Angular Momentum and demonstrate.  You will only be responsible for understanding this conceptually.  Problems 1-5 on page 294 will be extra credit if you want to do them.  Work on 7+8 Review (See documents if you don't have this.  You can skip the last 3 problems).
Wednesday 1/19:  Mid-day FLEX.  Come in for help on either of the review or to work on your project.
Thursday 1/20:  Motion Projects are due.  We will do a walk-around evaluation in the back of the room.  Go over the 7+8 Review Sheet and start going over the Final Review Packet.
Friday 1/21:  Turn in 7+8 Review.  Take short 7+8 Test.  More going over the semester review packet.
